The eSkills for Jobs 2016 Competitions, organised within the context of the eSkills for Jobs 2015-2016 awareness raising campaign, is an opportunity to highlight and reward persons with a high level of digital skills and literacy at a European level.
The competition is divided into 3 categories:
Young Digital Talent
Sponsored by CISCO and Fujitsu
This category awards people aged between 16 – 30 years old who are interested in coding and video game development
Outstanding Digital Skills Developer
Sponsored by Microsoft
This category awards teachers who completed the MOOC “Developing Digital Skills in your Classroom” and submitted a lesson or activity focussed on developing the digital skills of their students.
Innovative App Developer
Sponsored by the App Academy and Fujitsu
This category awards young people aged between 18 – 35 years old who are interested in coding and mobile app development.
